Gene, the drummer who plays with passion, fire and brilliant feel.....Gene has toured extensively with many big name artists, and lives a very exciting and desirable musical career.
Gene heads up the engine room for the rhythm section in 'got da blues', his fast rolls, energy and pure passion, all obvious when Gene sits in the drummers seat.
Darren and Gene comprise a most sensational rhythm section and made the foundation for the Buddy Knox Blues Band, and for the recording of 'got da blues'. Gene said "Darren is the best bass player I've ever worked with", the on stage chemistry between Gene and Darren is a thrill to watch.
Gene also has a great ability to sing harmony,
and is a popular and professional musician of exceptional reputation
and experience.
Gene's phone rings hot with calls from many artists seeking his
amazing talent, but Gene still has a real dedication and passion for
playing 'da blues' with his brother Buddy Knox

The extensive touring history which has taken mim all over Australia and Canada, London and Nashville are still great highlights in a lifelong musical dedication. He has played with Roger Knox, Warumpi Band, Kev Carmondy, Christine Anu, Tiddas, Johnny Huckle... and more.
