Biography
FOUNDING Blues Band Member Bass / Drums, and Recording Musician on 'got da blues'.
Darren confesses to
a deep passion for the blues, having soaked in many blues festivals
in his youth!! Equally at ease on bass or drums, Darren has been a
real force in the Buddy Knox Blues Band, and a huge part of the
awesome Blues team.
Buddy was thrilled to have Darren as his first Bass player, and also
to "lay down the groove" on the recording of 'got
da blues'.
Described by Buddy as a 'funky bass player' and armed with his rare Fender Precision, he works with great flair and enthusiasm to keep the blues real.
It was an awesome team with drummer Gene on the
sticks and skins, Darren on bass...energetic, seasoned,
passionate... what an amazing rhythm section.
Darren is an outstanding musician: singer/songwriter, guitar and
bass drummer (with a gift for playing blues shuffles).
Darren's other musical adventures have found him up and down the
eastern coast of Australia in too many Bands to mention!
He plays guild guitar, is a brilliant singer, and
songwriter in his own right.
