Best New Talent in the National Australian Blues Music Awards 2009
The National Australian Blues Music Festival, Goulburn awarded Buddy the acclaimed 'Chain Award' for Best New Talent 2008 Talkin' Woman

The 'Chain Award' is recognised as the industry's most prestigious honour and is presented each year to recognise excellence in Blues music. Buddy said "I've never even won so much as a free serve of french fries at Micci D's."..........He was very thrilled.
The awards are judged by a panel of judges from across Australia.
This year the strong competition was of a "high calibre", with 139 entries from all over Australia.
Buddy was pleased to have been successful in being named a finalist in three categories: Best New Talent, Male Vocalist of the Year for 'Goin' Back to Louisiana' and Producer of the Year for the 'got da blues' Album was co-produced Buddy Knox/Gareth Hudson.
